In Q3 2025, exports accelerated sharply (+3.2% after +0.3% in Q2), while imports maintained virtually the same strong pace as in the spring (+1.3% after +1.5%). As a result, the foreign trade balance recovered and made a positive contribution to GDP growth (+0.6 points, after -0.4 points in Q2). The rise in exports mainly concerned manufactured goods (+4.8%), driven by a surge in aircraft deliveries. Energy exports also rose (+2.3%), driven by electricity sales, as did exports of agricultural products (+0.6% after +6.9%) and services (+0.6% after -1.0%). Imports of manufactured goods remained robust (+1.9% after +2.6%), as did imports of energy (+0.8% after +0.3%) and agricultural products (+3.2% after +6.9%).
