French classification of activities

The French nomenclature of activities (NAF) provides a statistical classification of all economic activities, primarily designed to facilitate the organization of economic and social information.
For the purpose of international comparison, it has a structure strictly embedded within that of the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community (NACE), itself derived from the international classification of economic activities (ISIC).
