Gestion de la qualité
Quality assurance
Since 2005, the European Statistics Code of Practice has served as the reference framework for assessing the quality of production within national statistical institutes. European peer reviews are periodically conducted to ensure the implementation of the Code’s principles and to embed each institute in a process of continuous improvement. Within this framework, Insee has adopted a process-based approach. A set of shared tools, developed within the Public Statistical Service (SSP), has been created to describe statistical production processes, analyse their strengths and weaknesses, assess associated risks, review documentation (metadata), and evaluate specific stages (such as user needs analysis or data validation). The quality assessments resulting from these approaches lead to the development of action plans that are regularly monitored through process reviews. In addition, Insee conducts regular satisfaction surveys on the indicators and data it produces. The results of these surveys are available on the Insee website.
Quality assessment
Eurostat’s requirements are met, and the processes based on exhaustive administrative data are accurate and of high quality.
