All employees database 2022
Présentation statistique
Data description
The All employees database allows to describe all employees on a given year by their characteristics and those of their employing establishments. The database includes 4 files:
-
The "Postes" (Jobs) file, in which each line stands for a given employee in a given establishment (for example, if an employee works in two different establishments during the year, two lines will appear in the Jobs file). It contains data about the job (wages, working time, etc.) and about the establishment (sector, size, etc.) ;
-
The "Salariés" (Employees) file, in which each line stands for an employee. It contains the characteristics of his or her "main job" (the one with the highest salary or the longest duration) and the cumulative salaries and labor hours of all the employee's jobs ;
-
The "Etablissements" (Establishments) file. It contains job counts at the establishment level, based on different criteria (age, job category, etc.) ;
-
The "Entreprise" (Enterprises) file. It contains job counts at the enterprise level, based on different criteria (type of employment, time of the year, etc.).
The 2022 vintage is a continuation of the 2021 vintage. It contains, as for the previous years, the year N-1 data, updated with the latest methodological developments.
- Wages in the private sector in 2022 - A clear decrease in purchasing power, except at the level of the minimum wage
Sector coverage
All employees databases cover all employees of the business sector, civil service, and individual employers (household employees).
Statistical concepts and definitions
The All employees databases enable the study of the following topics :
-
Salaries paid to employees on a hourly or full-time equivalent (FTE) basis, by sector, workplace, etc. ;
-
Employees: age, gender, location, type of employment, job category, etc.
Statistical population
All employees databases cover all employees in the private and public sectors, and employees of individual employers.
