All employees database 2022
Documentation on methodology
The All Employees database is built from a computer processing chain named PIRENES. It is designed to integrate the specificities of the DSN but also to preserve, as far as possible, the methodology of the process carried out on the DADS.
The PIRENES chain is based on a complete processing of each DSN from its reception :
-
A SIRET validation step, based on the SIRUS repository or, failing that, by querying the SIRENE directory ;
-
An occupation and socio-professional category (PCS) 4-digits coding step, according to the PCS-ESE nomenclature. The first two digits match the socio-professional category ;
-
A city of residence coding step, based on DSN-declared zipcode ;
-
A DSN internal consistency step, between the variables relating to the remunerationitems, once the 12 months of declarations have been aggregated ;
-
A gross and net salaries calculation step, reconstructed from the various remuneration items available in the social declarations.
From 2022, the social declarations of the Civil Service are almost entirely DSNs, processed within the PIRENES chain. The statistical process is therefore identical for both business and public sector data.
