INSEE revises its statistical figures to ensure they reflect reality as accurately as possible and to guarantee their relevance and reliability. It uses well-established, standardised and scheduled procedures in line with international standards. It announces revisions either at the same time as they are published or in advance, in accordance with a procedure tailored to the source of the revisions, their scale and the sensitivity of the published statistics.
