Survey on services energy consumption in the tertiary sector 

ECET

This survey aims to measure energy consumption, energy expenditure, and the main end-uses of energy by businesses, primarily in the market-oriented service sector.
It also extends the sectoral coverage of the annual survey on energy consumption in industry (EACEI).
The results will be used to provide a comprehensive baseline assessment of energy use. They will also support the development and implementation of policies aimed at improving energy efficiency.

It follows the one carried out in 2011 among 20,000 local units in the tertiary sector (ECET 2011).
It is being conducted again in 2026, with data collection taking place from September to December 2026.
