Data collection

The collection ran from October 14, 2019 to March 15, 2020 for non-employers and from October 7, 2019 to February 15, 2020 for employers. It is conducted via the internet and, optionally, by mail (at the request of the association).

Sampling method

The sample is drawn from a sampling frame constructed from the Siren and RNA registers according to a systematic random sampling design stratified according to the field of activity, the number of employees (for employers) and the year of creation. The systematic draw concerns the region and the size of the municipality. The calculation of the allocations combines a Neyman'sallocationon the dispersion of the number of members and a Neyman'sallocation on the dispersion of resources.

Sample size

34,202 units (17,161 employer associations and 17,041 non-employer associations).
