Quality assurance
The different steps of the survey ensure that the process meets the requirements for
                              statistical production:
                              - tests carried out prior to collection, with 11 companies
                              - stratified sample selection
                              - reminders and checks of data being collected
                              - clearance
                              - adjustment of total non-response
                              - shimming
                              - adjustment for partial non-response
                              - winsorisation
Quality assessment
The variable on the share of operating expenses (LGPC) is distributed with great caution. It has a fairly high non-response rate (9%). In addition, the collection team reported difficulties for companies in answering this question: this does not correspond to items in the chart of accounts. Finally, the wording of the question suggests that zero should be set for companies that did not have a cost for logistics innovations in 2016. Among innovative companies in logistics 1/4 put 0 and among non-innovators in logistics 2/3 put 0. In addition, the cooperation or turnover variables resulting from innovations new to the market or to the company have variation coefficients greater than 20% for certain sectors (industry, sections B and C in particular).
