In Q3 2024, the average wage per capita (SMPT) in the non-agricultural market branches decelerated (+0.4% over the quarter, after +0.7% in Q2). The basic monthly wage (SMB ) also slowed (+0.5% after +0.6%). This slowdown was happening in the context of a downturn in inflation: the consumer price index increased by 1.7% year on year on average in Q3 2024, after +2.2% in the previous quarter.
