In Q3 2014, payroll employment in principally market sectors decreased q-o-q (-34,100 jobs, -0.2%), after an increase in the previous quarter (+8,300). Industry dropped this quarter (-0.4%), as well as construction

(-0.8%). Employment in services fell too (-0.1%, after +0.2%) due to temporary work. Excluding temporary work, employment in services rose over the quarter (+12 900) and year-on-year (+36 400). Excluding temporary work, employment shrinks over a year (-35 300 jobs).

Sharp decline in temporary employment

Temporary employment dropped in Q32014 (-22,900 jobs, -4.2%), after a rise in the previous quarter (+2.6%). It remained roughly stable year-on-year.
