Slight increase in payroll employment in Q1 2012 Payroll employment - 1st Quarter 2012

In Q1 2012, payroll employment in principally market sectors increased by 0.1% q-o-q (+ 18,300 jobs), after -0.1% (-8,100) in the previous quarter. Excluding temporary work, employment increased slightly in Q1 2012 (+19,100 jobs).

Stabilization of temporary employment

Temporary employment remained nearly stable this quarter : -0.1%, after -3.7 % in Q4 2011.
