Ongoing decrease in payroll employment in Q1 2013 Payroll employment - 1st Quarter 2013

In Q1 2013, payroll employment in principally market sectors decreased by 0.1% q-o-q (- 8,300 jobs), after -0.3% (-41,200) in the previous quarter. Excluding temporary work, employment decreased sharply in Q1 2013 (-21,600 jobs).

Recover in temporary employment

Temporary employment recovered this quarter : +2.6% (+13,300 jobs), after -1.7 % in Q4 2012 (-8,700 jobs).
