According to the business leaders questioned in April 2011, the situation in industry stabilized: the business climate indicator stays above its long-term average.

According to the business leaders questioned in April 2011, the situation in industry stabilized: the business climate indicator stays above its long-term average.
The turning point indicator decreases and goes down next to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.
Business leaders consider that their past activity has continued to accelerate and the balance of opinion remains distinctly above its long-term average. Stocks of finished products are still regarded as below to the normal. Export order books increase anew. They are considered as stronger, like total order books.
The activity of next months would slow down slightly, but would stay dynamic nevertheless: the personal perspectives of production, which decreases, remains on a rather high level. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, stays good too.
