According to the business leaders questioned in June, the industrial economic situation in France deteriorated slightly: the business climate indicator decreases a little. It places now five points below its long-term average. The turning point indicator stays to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.

According to the business leaders questioned in June, the industrial economic situation in France deteriorated slightly: the business climate indicator decreases a little. It places now five points below its long-term average. The turning point indicator stays to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.
Business leaders consider that their past activity has remained dynamic in manufacturing industry, still above its long-term average. Thereby, stocks of finished goods continue to increase and place near its long-term level. On the other hand, order books are still rated as low, including export oder books which increase nevertheless.
The personal production outlook for the next month deteriorates noticeably. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, stays yet above its long-term average.
