According to the business leaders questioned in May, the industrial economic situation remains deteriorated: the synthetic indicator increases by one point but stays on a very low level.

Business leaders consider that the drop of their past activity reduced slightly. At the same time, Stocks of finished products decrease and are rated near to their long-term average. However, total and export order books decrease again and are still considered as very low.

The personal production outlook over the next three months, increases a little but stays very unfavourable. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, improves anew but remains negative.
