In July 2009, the number of enterprises births declined by 8.9% compared to June (seasonally and working-day adjusted data).
In July 2009, the number of enterprises births declined by 8.9% compared to June (seasonally and working-day adjusted data).
This decrease is mostly due to the construction sector and to wholesale and retail trade.
N.B.: these data include self-managed enterprises.
+75.7% quarter-on-quarter
During the last three months, entries went up +75.7% compared to the same months a year earlier. Service activities and wholesale and retail trade were the sectors that most contributed to that raise.
178,340 self-managed enterprises at the end of July 2009
From January to July 2009, more than one out of two births enterprises were self-managed enterprises (178,340).
