Overall accuracy decreases with the finer level of geographical classification used.
On insee.fr, data are published in NUTS1 (régions), while they are transmitted and published by Eurostat in NUTS1 (régions), NUTS2 (anciennes régions ), and NUTS3 (départements) in order to comply with legal obligations. However, given the limited reliability of NUTS3 data, the decision was made not to publish them on insee.fr.
