- Source: INSEE.
Revision
For the first quarter of 2026, the quarterly and annual changes in the construction production cost index are unchanged: they stand at +1.4% and +2.1% respectively, as published in June 2026.
For further information
Monthly production cost indices are released every three months.
These indices aggregate the cost indices of six or seven factors of production: capital, labour, energy, materials, services, transport and wastes (only for public works). Please note that these indices are based on the production and import prices of inputs and measure costs before any subsidies or reimbursements.
These indices are subject to revision. They are primarily used as inputs for the national accounts and macroeconomics analyses.
Next issue: end of December 2026.
