House prices went up in Q1 2026

In Q1 2026, the house prices of metropolitan France went up: +0.2% (seasonally-adjusted data), after +0.3% in Q4 2025.

Prices for second-hand dwellings went up (+0.2% in Q1 2026, after +0.3% in Q4 2025), while prices for new dwellings rebounded (+0.5%, after -0.1%).

Year on year, house prices were virtually stable

Year on year, house prices were virtually stable after five quarters of increases: +0.1% in Q1 2026 after +0.9% in Q4 2025. Second-hand dwellings prices were virtually stable (+0.1%, after +1.0%), like prices of new dwellings (+0.1%, after +0.7%).
