In February 2026, manufacturing turnover decreased (-0.8%) Turnover in industry and construction - February 2026
All data are seasonally and working-day adjusted (SA-WDA).
INSEE recommends using producer price indices in industry and the industrial production index to analyse separately the evolution of activity and prices in this sector of activity, rather than using turnover indices whose evolution results from both price and activity evolutions.
Moreover, the producer price indices in industry and the industrial production index are published earlier than the turnover indices: respectively 30 and 35 days after the end of the month for the producer price indices and for the production index, against 60 days after the end of the month for the turnover indices.
However, the industrial turnover indices continue to be published monthly, but in a more concise form: since August 2022, the publication only contains the graph and the link to all the index series available in the database on the Insee website. The details of the data available online remain unchanged.
