increased by 1.3% year on year Price Index in large and predominantly food stores - November 2025
In November 2025, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets, and those sold in large and predominantly food stores, rose by 0.3% over a month, after ‑0.1% in October.
Excluding hyper and supermarkets, prices of frequently purchased goods were stable over a month, as in October.
Considering all kinds of stores, prices of frequently purchased goods were virtually stable over a month: +0.1% after ‑0.1% as in October.
Year on year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets accelerated
Compared to those of the same month last year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets accelerated: +1.3%, after +1.1% in October. In large and predominantly food stores, prices increased by 1.4% after +1.2% in October.
Excluding hyper and supermarkets, the prices of frequently purchased goods rose over a year at the same rate than in October: +1.9%.
Considering all types of stores, the prices of frequently purchased goods accelerated slightly: +1.5% after +1.4% in the previous month.

Month on month, the prices of food and beverages (excluding fresh produces) sold in hyper and supermarkets rebounded in November 2025: +0.3% after ‑0.1% in October. Year on year, these prices accelerated: +1.7% after +1.4% in October; they rose for the eighth consecutive month.
The prices of meat sold in hyper and supermarkets increased again over one month: +0.4% after +0.4% in October. Year on year, they rose by 2.3% after +1.5% in October.
The prices of beverages sold in hyper and supermarkets rebounded by 0.4% over one month after ‑0.2% in October. Year on year, they rose by +5.0% as in October.
The prices of “other food products” rebounded by 0.3% over a month, after ‑0.3% in October. Year on year, they accelerated (+0.4% after +0.2% in October).
Fall in prices of cleaning and personal care products over one year
