Warning

These provisional results are only preliminary data. Accordingly, they should not be used for contractual revaluations. The indices published here are based on a limited set of price observations and from estimates of some rates of change for fares which are not yet available. The complete results will be published on 12 December 2025.

Over a year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) should rise by 0.9% in November 2025, as in October, according to the provisional estimate made at the end of the month. The stability of inflation should be attributed to a deceleration in service prices, primarily driven by communication services, and to a sharper decline in manufactured goods prices. These effects should be, however, offset by a more moderate decrease in energy prices and a slight acceleration in food prices. Year on year, prices of tobacco should rise at the same rate as in October.

Over one month, consumer prices should decrease by 0.1% in November 2025, after +0.1% in October. The decline in prices should be attributed to lower service prices, particularly in transport and communication services, and, to a lesser extent, to the decrease in manufactured goods prices. Energy prices are expected to rebound, driven by petroleum products, while tobacco prices would register a slight increase. Food prices should remain stable.

Year on year, the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices should rise by 0.8% in November 2025, as in October. Over one month, it should fall by 0.2%, after +0,1% in the previous month.
