In June 2025, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets, and those sold in large and predominantly food stores, were stable over a month, after +0.4% in May.

Excluding hyper and supermarkets, prices of frequently purchased goods rose by 0.2% over a month, after +0.3% in May.

Considering all kinds of stores, prices of frequently purchased goods were stable over a month, after +0.3% in May

Year on year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets rose again

Compared to those of the same month last year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets rose again: +0.5%, as in May. In large and predominantly food stores, prices also increased at the same pace as in May: +0.6%.

Excluding hyper and supermarkets, the prices of frequently purchased goods accelerated slightly over a year: +1.6% after +1.4% in May.

Considering all types of stores, the prices of frequently purchased goods increased year on year: +1.1% after +1.0% in May.

Year on year, food prices in hyper and supermarkets rose again

Month on month, the prices of food and beverages (excluding fresh produces) sold in hyper and supermarkets were stable in June 2025, after +0.5% in May. Year on year, these prices increased again : +0.9% after +0.8% in May.

The prices of meat sold in hyper and supermarkets rose again over one month: +0.2% after +0.3% in May. Year on year, they were stable, as in May.

The prices of beverages sold in hyper and supermarkets slowed down sharply over one month: +0.1% after +1.1% in May. Year on year, their increase accelerated again: +4.8% after +4.4% in May.

The prices of “other food products” were almost stable over one month: ‑0.1% after +0.3% in May. Year on year, they decreased again: ‑0.3% after ‑0.2% in May.

Year on year, the prices of cleaning and personal care products decreased again

Month on month, the prices of cleaning and personal care products sold in hyper and supermarkets were stable, after being almost stable (-0.1%) in May. Year on year, they decreased again: ‑1.7% as in May.
