In June 2024, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets were almost stable (‑0.1% over a month, after +0.1% in May). In large and predominantly food stores, the prices were stable over a month, after being almost stable in May (+0.1%).
Excluding hyper and supermarkets, prices were also stable over a month, after being almost stable in May (+0.1%).
Considering all kinds of stores, the prices of frequently purchased goods were almost stable over a month (‑0.1%, after +0.1% in May).
Year on year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets decreased slightly for the first time in thirty-three months
Compared to those of the same month last year, the prices of frequently purchased goods sold in hyper and supermarkets decreased slightly for the first time since October 2021: ‑0.1% in June 2024, after +0.2% in May.
