Fewer business managers indicate a recent increase in their staff size
In April 2019, fewer business managers than in March have reported an increase in their staff size over the last three months. The corresponding balance has decreased again while remaining above its long-term average. However, employment prospects have improved: after a sharp decrease in March, the balance of opinion on expected staff size has picked up and stands well above its long-term average.
