In August 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 0.8%, after an other increase in July (2.6%; first estimate: 1.7%).
Non domestic new orders decreased in August (-1.5%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+2.8%)
Over the same period, non domestic new orders rose by 2.8% (q-o-q).
New orders increased by 3.4% (q-o-q) in the “other manufacturing” sector, by 2.1% in automobile and by 1.9% in “electrical and electronic equipment”.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+10.8%)
The quarterly level of new orders is 10.8% higher than a year ago.
