In April 2016, the business climate indicator is stable. The composite indicator, compiled from the answers of business managers in the main sectors, stands at 101, one point above its long-term average (100). It has gained two points in manufacturing and building construction, whereas it lost one point in services and two points in retail trade.

In April 2016, the business climate indicator is stable. The composite indicator, compiled from the answers of business managers in the main sectors, stands at 101, one point above its long-term average (100). It has gained two points in manufacturing and building construction, whereas it lost one point in services and two points in retail trade.

Revisions

Since its first estimate, the business climate in manufacturing and in France in March 2016 has been revised upward by one point. Those revisions are due to late answers from businesses that have been taken into account.
