In January 2016, the business climate indicator has improved slightly. The composite indicator, compiled from the answers of business managers in the main sectors has gained one point and has returned to its November's level. It stands at 102, a little above its long-term average (100), which has been hit during summer. The business climate indicator has gone up by two points in services and one point in retail trade. It has been stable in manufacturing and wholesale trade.

In January 2016, the business climate indicator has improved slightly. The composite indicator, compiled from the answers of business managers in the main sectors has gained one point and has returned to its November's level. It stands at 102, a little above its long-term average (100), which has been hit during summer. The business climate indicator has gone up by two points in services and one point in retail trade. It has been stable in manufacturing and wholesale trade.

Since its first estimate, the business climate indicators in manufacturing, in services and in retail trade have lost one point; this revision comes from late answers that have been taken into account. The business climate in France is unchanged (101).
