House prices decreased again by 1.2% year-on-year in Q3 2014 House price index - 3rd Quarter 2014

In Q3 2014, house prices rose by 0.9% compared to the previous quarter. The magnitude of increases in prices was similar for second-hand dwellings and new dwellings (+0.9%).

In Q3 2014, house prices rose by 0.9% compared to the previous quarter. The magnitude of increases in prices was similar for second-hand dwellings and new dwellings (+0.9%).

Year-on-year, house prices decreased for the tenth consecutive quarter

Compared to the same quarter last year, house prices decreased in Q3 2014, for the tenth consecutive quarter (–1.2% as in Q2 2014). Prices of second-hand dwellings went down at roughly the same pace as in Q2 2014 (–1.2%). Prices of new dwellings decreased (–0.7%) after remaining almost stable in Q2 and increasing during the three previous quarters.
