In February 2012, the turnover declined in transportation and storage (–2.4 %) and in the wholesale trade (–0.5 %) whereas it rose in information and communication (+2.0 %). It was stable in business support activities (+0.0 %) and broadly unchanged in real estate activities (+0.1 %).
Every index in this issue is in value, seasonally and working-day adjusted.
In February 2012, the turnover declined in transportation and storage (–2.4 %) and in the wholesale trade (–0.5 %) whereas it rose in information and communication (+2.0 %). It was stable in business support activities (+0.0 %) and broadly unchanged in real estate activities (+0.1 %).
Quarter on quarter (q-o-q), the turnover expanded in information and communication (+1.8 %), in real estate activities (+1.6 %), in business support activities (+1.2 %) and in transportation and storage (+0.9 %). Conversely, it fell in the wholesale trade (–0.5 %).
Year on year (y-o-y), the turnover rose in business support activities (+5.4 %), in transportation and storage (+3.7 %), in information and communication (+3.5 %), in the wholesale trade (+2.5 %) and, to a lesser extent, in real estate activities (+0.8 %).

Revisions
The SA-WDA evolution in January has been revised by +1.1 point in transportation and storage. The variation, initially announced at –0.7 %, has been corrected at +0.4 %. In the same period, the SA-WDA evolution has been revised by +0.1 point in real estate activities, by +0.1 point in business support activities and by –0.1 point in the wholesale trade. The turnover’s variation has been confirmed in information and communication.
