In December 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) were almost stable (-0.1%) after an expansion in November (+1.1%). However, non-domestic new orders strongly increased (+2.5%).

Over the last quarter, new orders decreased in industry (-1.1%)
During the last quarter (q-o-q), new orders decreased in the “other manufacturing” sector (-1.1%), in the “electrical and electronic equipment” (-0.9%) as well as in the car industry (-0.7%).
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+0.8%)
The last three months’ level of new orders is 0.8% higher than a year ago.
