In total industry, output was stable as well (+0.0%).

In the last three months, manufacturing output decreased (-0.6%)…

In the last three months (quarter-on-quarter change), output decreased in the manufacturing sector as well as in the industry as a whole (-0.6%).

Output decreased in the other manufacturing sectors (-0.8%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (-1.8%). Meanwhile, it increased in the electrical, electronic equipment and machine equipment (+0.6%).

…though it remained higher than its last year’s level by 3.1%

Manufacturing output rose by 3.1% (y-o-y).

It increased in the other manufacturing sectors (+2.6%), in the electrical and electronic equipment and machine equipment (+4.9%), in the manufacture of food pro-ducts and beverages (+3,1%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+2.0%).

Please note: all the series are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of working days (WDA).

Output increased in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (+2.5%) and in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+1.2%).

… as well as in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment, machine equipment (+0.5%).

Output sharply increased in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (+3.2%). On the other hand, it decreased in the manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. (-0.8%) and in the manufacture of electrical equipment (-0.5%).

However, output decreased in the « other manufacturing » (-0.6%)

Output decreased in the manufacture of wood and paper products; printing and reproduction of recorded media (-3.5%), in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (-2.2%), in the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products (-1.0%) as well as in the manufacture of textiles, wearing apparel, leather and related products (-2.2%). It was almost stable in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (-0.1%).

On the other hand, output increased in the manufacture of rubber and plastics products (+0.8%) and in the other manufacturing, repair and installation of machinery and equipment (+1.4%).
