In December 2012, the turnover upturned in the wholesale trade (+2.2%), in transportation and storage (+1.3%) and in business support activities (+1.3%). It also rose in information and communication (+0.9%). It was broadly stable in real estate activities (+0.1%).
Warning : from January 2013, the index of the wholesale trade and business services will be base 2010 and referenced to 2010.
Every index in this issue is in value, seasonally and working-day adjusted (SA-WDA).
In December 2012, the turnover upturned in the wholesale trade (+2.2%), in transportation and storage (+1.3%) and in business support activities (+1.3%). It also rose in information and communication (+0.9%). It was broadly stable in real estate activities (+0.1%).
Over the last quarter 2012, the turnover grew in the wholesale trade (+0.6%, q-o-q), in business support activities (+0.5%) and in information and communication (+0.4%). It was broadly steady in transportation and storage (+0.2%) and stable in real estate activities (0.0%).
Over the last year 2012, the turnover took off in the wholesale trade (+2.3%, y-o-y), in business support activities (+1.8%), in transportation and storage (+1.3%) and in information and communication (+1.1%). On the contrary, it fell in real estate activities (–1.4%).

Revisions
The evolution in November has been revised by +0.3 point in information and communication. The variation, announced at –0.2% last month, has been corrected at +0.1%. In the same period, the evolution has been revised by +0.2 point in the wholesale trade, +0.1 point in real estate activities and –0.1 point in transportation and storage and in business support activities.
