In July 2011, the turnover increased (+1.5%) in the manufacturing industry, after a drop (–2.6%) in June. Exports declined (–0.5%, after –3.9% in June).

In July 2011, the turnover increased (+1.5%) in the manufacturing industry, after a drop (–2.6%) in June. Exports declined (–0.5%, after –3.9% in June).
The turnover grew in the other manufacturing (+1.2%) in July 2011, particularly in the manufacture of metal products (+2.1%).
The turnover was also up in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+3.0%), in the manufacture of transport equipment (+0.9%), in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+5.9%) and to a lesser extent in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.3%).
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also increased in July (+1.5%).

In the last three months (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry grew by 0.4%. It was particularly up in the other manufacturing (+0.7%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+1.3%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 7.8%. It notably increased in the other manufacturing (+7.6%).
