In June 2011, the manufacturing output strongly decreased in volume (-1.9%). It had soared in May 2011 (+1.4%). In the industry, output decreased as well (-1.6%).

In June 2011, the manufacturing output strongly decreased in volume (-1.9%). It had soared in May 2011 (+1.4%).

In the industry, output decreased as well (-1.6%).

In the last quarter, the manufacturing output decreased (-0.4%)…

In the last quarter (quarter-on-quarter change), the output decreased in the manufacturing sector (–0.4%) and in the industry as a whole (-0.5%).

The output decreased in the manufacture of transport equipment (-1.0%), in the “other manufacturing” (–0.3%q-o-q) as well as in the electrical, electronic equipment and machine equipment (-0.5%).

…and exceeded it’s last year’s level by 3.8%

The manufacturing output rose by 3.8% (y-o-y). It soared in the “other manufacturing” (3.3%), in the electrical and electronic equipment and machine equipment (+6.6%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+3.1%).

The output decreased in the manufacture of rubber or plastics products (-3.8%), in the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products (-2,2%) and in the “other manufacturing, repair and installation of machinery and equipment” (-3.1%).

… in the manufacture of electrical or electronic equipment and machine equipment (-3.8%) …

The output decreased sharply in the manufacture of electrical equipment (-7.7%), in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (-4.4%). It decreased slightly in the manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. (-0.6%).

… as well as in the manufacture of transport equipment (-2.8%)

The output strongly decreased in the manufacture of other transport equipment (-6.1%). However, it was stable in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (+0.1%).

Revisions : -0.10 point in May

In May 2011, the manufacturing output increased (+1.4%)

The revisions are due to the revision of raw series in the manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. and in the manufacture of other transport equipment, in the manufacture of wood and paper products; printing and reproduction of recorded media, in the manufacture of of rubber and plastics products, and other non-metallic mineral products.
