Warning : as each year in July, seasonal coefficients have been updated.

According to the business leaders interviewed in July 2012, the situation in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles falls off: the synthetic indicator loses 6 points, being now clearly under its long-term average.

Recent sales go on slowing down, essentially in trade and repair of motor vehicles. Expected sales and ordering intentions remain dull. Each of the three balances stays significantly lower than its average.

General business outlook equally declines, sign that the retailers are more pessimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
