In July 2013, the turnover rose in the manufacturing industry (+0.6%). Exports also grew, but far less than the previous month (+0.4% compared to +2.1%). The turnover increased slightly in the industry as a whole (+0.4%).

Turnover decreased over the last three months (-0.8%)…
Over the quarter (q-o-q), the turnover went down in the manufacturing industry (-0.8%). It declined in transport equipment (-2.3%), in other industries (–0.9%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–0.7%). It remained almost stable in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (-0.1%) and in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.1%).
…and to a lesser extent over the last year (–0.2%)
Year-on-year, the turnover decreased slightly in the manufacturing industry (-0.2%). On the one hand, it fell in the other industries (–2.3%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (-0.9%), but on the other hand, it rose in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+3.2%), of transport equipment (+0.8%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (+1.0%).

Monthly variations
In July 2013, the turnover rebounded in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+2.3%). It rose in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+0.6%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (+0.4%). It remained almost stable in the manufacture of transport equipment (+0.3%) after a sharp increase in June (+5.2%); in July the increase in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+4.0%) was balanced by the decline in the motor vehicles industry (-5.2%). It leveled off in other industries.
