In June 2014, manufacturing output increased (+1.6%) Industrial production index - June 2014

In June 2014, manufacturing output went up susbstantially (+1.6%), after a fall in May (–2.3%). Output increased also in industrial production as a whole (+1.3%, after –1.6% in May 2014).

In June 2014, manufacturing output went up susbstantially (+1.6%), after a fall in May (–2.3%). Output increased also in industrial production as a whole (+1.3%, after –1.6% in May 2014).

Manufacturing output decreased by 1.2% over the last quarter…

During the last quarter (q-o-q), output weakened in the manufacturing sector (–1.2%) as well as in industry as a whole (–0.5%).

Output declined in other manufacturing (–0.9%), in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–1.8%), in the manufacture of transport equipment (–1.1%) as well as in the manufacture of food products and beverages (–1.0%). Output felt considerably in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–6.8%).

… and by 0.9% over the year.

Manufacturing output went down by 0.9% (y-o-y).

Output decreased in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–1.6%), in other manufacturing (–0.4%), in the manufacture of transport equipment (–1.0%) as well as in the manufacture of food products and beverages (–0.9%). Output plummeted in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–15.0%).

In June 2014, output went up in other manufacturing (+1.3%)…

The upturn concerned almost all products in other manufacturing. Output increased strongly in the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment products (+3.3%). In a less sustained pace, output increased in the manufacture of rubber and plastics products, and other non-metallic mineral products (+1.4%), in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (+1.4%), in the manufacture of wood and paper products; printing and reproduction of recorded media (+1.3%) and in the manufacture of textiles, wearing apparel, leather and related products (+1.7%). However, output shrank in other manufacturing; repair and installation of machinery and equipment (–0.5%) and in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (–0.8%).

… in the manufacture of transport equipment (+4.6%)…

Output soared in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+6.7%) and, to a lesser extent, in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (+2.2%).

… and in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (+1.9%).

Output grew strongly in the manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. (+3.4%) and, in a less sustained pace, in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (+1.3%). It slipped in the manufacture of electrical equipment (–0.1%).

Output dropped in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–2.6%).
