In May 2013, the turnover fell significantly in the manufacturing industry (–1.8%). Exports dropped (–4,3%). The turnover decreased too in the industry as a whole (–1.5%).

Over the quarter (q-o-q), the turnover rose moderately in the manufacturing industry (+0.5%). It increased sharply in the manufacture of transport equipments (+4.8%). It grew in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+1.1%) and, to a lesser extent, in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (+0.3%). It remained stable in the manufacture of food products and beverages (0.0%). Nevertheless it decreased in other industries (–1.0%)
… and over the last year (+0.2%)
Year-on-year, the turnover grew slightly in the manufacturing industry (+0.2%). It rose in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+3.3%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+3.0%). It fell in other industries (–2.0%).

In May 2013, the turnover slumped in the manufacture of transport equipments (–6.1%), mainly in the manufacture of other transport equipment (–9.3%). It declined in other industries (–1.5%), particularly in the manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products (–2.0%). It fell in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–1.1%). It remained stable in the manufacture of food products and beverages (0.0%). On the contrary, it rose moderately in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+0.6%).
