In September 2013, the turnover declined significantly in the manufacturing industry (−1.5%). Exports declined too (−0.6%). The turnover decreased in the industry as a whole as well (−1.2%).

Growth over the last three months (+0.8%)
Over the quarter (q-o-q), the turnover went up moderately in the manufacturing industry (+0.8%). It increased in other industries (+0.9%), in the manufacture of transport equipments (+1.6%), in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+1.3%) and in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.4%). On the opposite, it went down slightly in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–0.3%).
Stability over the last year (+0.1%)
Year-on-year, the turnover levelled off in the manufacturing industry (+0.1%). On the one hand, it grew significantly in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+2.9%) and it went up moderately in the manufacture of transport equipments (+0.5%). On the other hand, it fell in other industries (–0.8%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–2.8%).

Monthly variations
In September 2013, the turnover slumped in the manufacture of transport equipment (−5.2%). It plummeted in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (−6.0%) as well as in the manufacture of other transport equipment (−4.7%). It declined in other industries (−0.5%) mainly in the manufacture of rubber and plastics products, and other non-metallic mineral products (−2.5%). It went down in the manufacture of food products and beverages (−1.1%). It dipped in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (−1.9%). Lastly, it decreased in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (−0.8%).
