In April 2013, the turnover improved in business support activities (+3.4%), in transportation and storage (+2.5%), in the wholesale trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (+2.0%), in information and communication (+2.0%) and, to a lesser extent, in real estate activities (+0.5%).

Over the quarter (q-o-q), the turnover rose in real estate activities (+0.9%) and in business support activities (+0.6%). Conversely, it went down in transportation and storage (–0.7%) and in the wholesale trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (–0.6%). It was broadly steady in information and communication (–0.1%).
Over the year (y-o-y), the turnover increased in business support activities (+1.2%), in the wholesale trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (+1.1%) and in transportation and storage (+0.7%). It was broadly stable in information and communication (–0.3%) and in real estate activities (–0.2%).

Revisions
The evolution in March has been revised by +0.2 point in information and communication. The variation, announced at –2.3% last month, has been corrected at –2.1%. In the same period, the evolution has been revised by +0.1 point in the wholesale trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles. The turnover’s variation has been confirmed in business support activities, in transportation and storage and in real estate activities.
