The French business climate remains sluggish in may 2013 Business climate indicator and turning point indicator - May 2013

Calculated from the answers of business leaders of the main sectors of activity, the French business climate remains stable in may and is 84, still below its long term average (100). The business climate sectoral indicators remained at low levels. The business climate rose by four points in manufacturing industry, but dropped by two points in the building industry. In wholesaling, the composite indicator dropped by two points in two months. In services and retail trade, the synthetic indicators remained stable.
