Excluding fresh foodstuffs, food and beverage prices remained stable in hyper and supermarkets in July 2013. They rose sligthly in June (+0.1%). Year on year, they rose by 0.5 % after +0.6 % in June 2013. Food and beverage prices (excluding fresh foodstuffs) were higher 1.6% in July 2012 compared with the same month a year ago.
In July 2013, meat prices went up by 0.1% in hyper and supermarkets (like in June 2013). Year on year, they increased by 2.8% in July (like in June 2013). In July 2012, they went up by 2.0%.
In hyper and supermarkets, beverage prices were stable in july after having incresased by 0.1% in June 2013. Between July 2012 and July 2013, beverage prices rose by 0.5% in July 2013 (+0.7% between June 2012 and June 2013). In July 2012, they grew by 3.3% year on year.
In July 2013, prices of other food products (excluding fresh foodstuffs) decreased by 0.1% after a slight increase (+0.1%) in June. They dipped by 0.8%, year on year (—0.7% in June 2013). Between July 2012 and July 2011, they rose by 0.7%.

In July 2013, prices of the cleaning and personal care products were down 0.2% in hyper and supermarkets; they stayed steady in June. Year on year, they decreased by 0.6% (—0.3% in June). In July 2012, they went up 0.7% year on year.
