In August 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 0.6% after an increase in July (+1.3%; first estimate: +0.9%).
In August 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 0.6% after an increase in July (+1.3%; first estimate: +0.9%).
Non-domestic new orders increased as well (+0.6%).
Over the last three months, new orders increased in industry (+2.1%)
During the last three months (q-o-q), new orders increased in the “other manufacturing” sector by 1.9%, in the car industry (+2.5%) as well as in the “electrical and electronic equipment” (+2.4%).
Over the same period, non-domestic new orders increased slightly (+0.5 %).
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+10.7%)
The last three months’ level of new orders is 10.7% higher than a year ago.
