In April 2011, the turnover grew modestly (+0,2%) in the manufacturing industry, after a decrease (–0,7%) in March. Exports declined, as they did in March (–1.5%, after –1.6%).

In April 2011, the turnover grew modestly (+0,2%) in the manufacturing industry, after a decrease (–0,7%) in March. Exports declined, as they did in March (–1.5%, after –1.6%).
In April 2011, the turnover was up in the other manufacturing (+0.4%), especially in the other manufacturing (+1.6%).
The turnover also increased in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.8%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+0.2%).
It declined in the manufacture of transport equipment (–0.8%) and was also down in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (–0.4%)
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) was broadly stable in April (+0.1%).

In the last three months (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry grew by 2.8%. It increased particularly in the other manufacturing (+3.1%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+7.6%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 10.1%. It was particularly up in the other manufacturing (+10.3%).
