In May 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 1.4% after a decrease in April (-1.2%; first estimate: -1.1%).
In May 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 1.4% after a decrease in April (-1.2%; first estimate: -1.1%).
Non-domestic new orders decreased in May (–0.9%).
Over the last quarter, new orders decreased in industry (-2.7%)
During the last three months (q-o-q), non-domestic news orders also decreased by 1.5 %.
Over the same period, new orders decreased in car industry by 16.6% and in “electrical and electronic equipment” by 2.3 %. On the other hand, news orders increased in the “other manufacturing” sector by 2.5%.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+12.9%)
The last three months’ level of new orders is 12.9% higher than a year ago.
