According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate still improves in March 2011. The indicator reaches 108, staying above its long term average for the seventh month in a row. The business climate is particularly favourable in the industry, services and wholesale trade sector. In building industry, business leaders’ answers still suggest a bleak climate. In retail trade, the situation worsens a bit.

According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate still improves in March 2011. The indicator reaches 108, staying above its long term average for the seventh month in a row. The business climate is particularly favourable in the industry, services and wholesale trade sector. In building industry, business leaders’ answers still suggest a bleak climate. In retail trade, the situation worsens a bit.

At the same time, the turning point indicator clearly remains in the favourable zone for one year and a half. This shows continuous signs of a coming recovery.
