In February 2011, the turnover increased by 1.1% in the manufacturing industry, after +2,7% in January. Exports rose (+1.4%, after +6,6 in January).

In February 2011, the turnover increased by 1.1% in the manufacturing industry, after +2,7% in January. Exports rose (+1.4%, after +6,6 in January).

The turnover went up in the manufacture of transport equipment (+2.2%) in February, either in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+3.9%) and in the manufacture of motor vehicles (+1.3%).

In February, the turnover increased in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+1.4%), in the other manufacturing (+0.4%), in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+1.4%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+1.5%).

The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also rose in February (+0.8%).

Quarter-on-quarter (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry grew by 4.5%. It was mostly up in the other manufacturing (+4.1%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+6.3%).

Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 10.7%. It particularly grew in the other manufacturing (+10.5%).
