According to the business leaders questioned in February, the economic situation in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles slightly declines: the synthetic indicator loses three points but remains above its long-term average yet.

Recent sales have moderatly decreased, mainly because of the fall in trade and repair of motor vehicles. Expectations show opposite signals: expected sales mildly progress but ordering intentions and overall economic expectations slightly decrease: retailers’opinion are still less optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
